Early American Workshop
About the Project
Early American Workshop is a local furniture restoration company based out of an all American garage. Early American Workshop has been one of the leading local furniture restorers since 1985. With a very outdated, non-responsive website, it was time for an update. That’s where Dude Digital stepped in.
Primary goal:
Capture leads
Secondary goal:
Establish what services are offered
Hero Section
Focusing on our primary goal, we greet users with a small statement about what we do and prompt users with a call to action. This helps push our primary goal right out of the gate. We also use a traditional serif font to establish a sense of trust, experience, and knowledge in Early American Workshop which gives users confidence in starting a project.
Value Proposition
As the visitor scrolls, they are introduced to the ways we add value to their furniture and what we can do to bring it to life. This helps bring context to the more generic statement provided in the Hero Section.
“A picture is worth a thousand words.” So we decided to show what we do not just tell. Using drastic before and after photos, we can show visitors the transformation a piece of furniture experiences when in our workshop.
Define Services
With our secondary goal in mind, we want to establish what services we provide for furniture restoration. A simple visual bullet point of items we offer allows users to skim and associate the icons with services provided.
Back up the Claim
We don’t want to just say we’re experienced and take extreme care of your antique furniture, we also want to show you what we do. We take time to assemble some of our favorite and recent project photos to get an inside look at what work we do and have been up to lately.
