About the Project
SK Confections is a local bakery based in a home kitchen. They specialize in small orders for birthday parties, family events, holiday parties, and other special orders. Their best selling items are cupcakes and homemade pies. SK does the majority of their marketing through social media like Facebook and Instagram. Because their clientele is mostly found online, SK wanted to take orders digitally also. That’s when Dude Digital went to work.

Hero Section
The first thing users see when they arrive on the site is an image showing what SK Confections does with a call to place an order. We found that visitors lost visual context when the background image was shrunk on smaller screens. Because of this, we made the background image shift to a more vertical-friendly image on smaller screens such as mobile devices.
Engage Leads
In line with the secondary goal of the site, we encourage visitors to follow SK on social media and sign up for the Mailing List. This is to help increase SK’s following and influence for future sales and promotions.
